Lowest point of my life.
Everyday like no life. Even my voice change. Amazing that some people can call and say: sorry wrong number.
People can bypass me without recognizing me cos I wear until so 'free style'.
Been reading the bible randomly. Quite amazing as there are so many stories inside. What amaze me is that the bible dare to write 'till today', 'it is still here today' in their stories.
What book dares to write that? It's amazing that there is a God that look after us, yet still there are free thinkers out there who believe there is no god. I've been reading this bible which I bought 2 years ago. It's made for students as there is a insight of what the story you are reading is about and how man have discover the proof after decades or centuries later.
The whole point of Christian is base on the true facts of the bible and till today no one can proof it wrong.
Yet it is hard to take up the cross and follow him.
Bought a lot of chocolates. Shall post pic soon.

Deja Vu.
Last week I work very hard. There are a lot of classes to be created and I have to assign students one by one in.
I have to figure out the new system and the new school and also try to know all the new people. Deadline was friday 15th of June 2007. I rush the work out and even pass some to Fransin.
Monday came and the HOD check. He say it was wrong. I was like W T F. He call up the company and it's confirm that it's wrong. So they expect me to redo.
OVER MY DEAD BODY.
I hand in my resignation letter that night. I request for release ASAP.
Tuesday the 2nd in charge call me. I actually forfeit my one month pay for my freedom. As I was sitting there I was feeling funny and thought : why am I still working?
And that was the last my company sees me.
So I went back to Bedok Green Sec and eat lunch with old friends. It was a great feeling. I went back into the school to sit around and eventually I shook hand with the new HOD.
It was quite amazing as my brain register her as someone I have met before. I was very very faint memory but I had to ask. I ask her if we have met before. She gave me a puzzled look as if she also can't remember. Maybe she think I'm trying out some pickup lines. lolx. I ask her if she remembers seeing me. Well, she say she will think about it.
I think it was time for me to leave so as I walk out of the library, I told her my secondary Sch was Bedok Town. She says she was from there once. We match the years and I think she might have taught me computers in year 1997.

Life is a tragic sometime.
Been taking a lot of shit for this new pay rise and new sch. I went out to eat with a whole bunch of teachers and staff today from TPJC and I wonder why and who complain my friend that she's not good.
I feel I might have a hard time fitting in as the school look so dull and lifeless. Not like BGSS where everything is so new and there is a piano in the canteen.
I gave up BGSS as I know someone will be leaving if I'm staying as the school darkest plan is to try and make me take over his job. Yet the ironic part is that the person tender his resignation few days after I left. wtf.
The work at the new school is horrible. 150 excel sheet to open and each excel sheet have 1 to 2 tabs with different classes. I have to create the classes one by one and input all the names one by one. And if that isn't tough, deadline is this coming friday.
Quarrel with GF over some stupid matters. Disturbed by some guy who trying to 'date' me out. The guy whom I only talk on phone can yank for hrs. He has been calling me for 7 days straight. Only 1 day did he not call but he fwd those Chinese sms text messages. Tmr I might be going lunch alone if not people will be wondering why I replace that friend of mine. It's so ironic that in the first place when I ask her to join my company, I beg her to replace me in BGSS as I've no confident in teaching. Now I feel like some shitty pawn relocated to TPJC getting some high pay but lifeless job.

Top 12 Ways to Speed Up Your Computer
After a while, all computers start to slow down. The pop-ups start to invade your desktop. The programs take longer to load and the computer sounds like a freight train every time you start it up.
Thankfully, there are a number of things you can do before calling in the repair man. Here are 12 of the top ways to speed up your computer.
1. Defragment your computer. The defrag tool can be found by going to the start menu, to programs, accessories, system tools and then clicking on the defragementation tool. It may take several hours to properly defrag a hard drive, especially if you haven't done it in a while. However, the resulting gain in speed will be well worth it.
Quick Note: For best performance, you should delete any unnecessary files before defragmenting your drives.
2. Add additional memory. Adding RAM to your system is one of the best ways to speed up your computer.
3. Clear your Internet cache for faster browsing speeds.
4. Delete your cookies.
5. Use keyboard shortcuts.
6. Empty your Temp Directory on a regular basis.
The temp directory can quickly fill up with hundreds of temp files over time, which can slow things down immensely.
To delete Temp files, you must first make sure that NO programs are open. If you are using Windows 95, 98 or Me, go to C:WindowsTemp and delete everything inside the Temp folder.
If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, the process is a bit trickier. First, you must make sure that you can see hidden folders. To do this, double-click on My Computer. PC Show.
Coming Thursday May 31 would be the 17th PC show if I'm not wrong. It'll be held at Suntec.
For those feeling heavy in your wallet can get some of these:
Dell 24" LCD. Predicted price - $899 - $999. The best and highest resolution LCD you can get in the market now. Run at the resolution of 1920x1200. Any higher you'll have to upgrade your graphics card.
Singnet and SCV deals. They always have this.
Laptops. For those of you aiming for a laptop, please go there 2 times. First is to check out the price and don't buy until the last day. Trust me.
Printers. I still recommend Canon. Just buy on the first day to avoid the crowd. If canon drop price on the last day, I'll drop my pants for you. If you find any shop in Singapore selling cheaper then PC show for Canon Printers, you can call Canon and sue them.
Digitial Camera. This is headache. You have to do your homework unless you are looking for one base on looks not functions.
Thumb drives / Flash Drives. Cost around $19.90 for 1GB. I recommend 'Sandisk Ultra II SD' 2GB. It is actually a SD card which can be 'broken' into half and transform into a thumb drive. Predicted cost : $50

'accessability.api' file. The same file exists, but in slightly
different locations, in older version of Acrobat Reader.

it Adobe's ability to read documents out-loud. I'm willing to trade
Adobe reading my documents out-loud like Ben Stein for the increase in
speed. Goodbye, accessability.api!

My 13th Car Accident?
Today I scratch my dad car again. It's a total waste of time. I drove to funan with my laptop to demo how the thumb drive could restart my whole computer so that they could change me a new thumb drive. My mom went down yesterday but the man refuse to change it as he tested it without problem and the piss off thing is that the shop closes on sunday!
I hate it when my time go to waste like that. Waste my time and money. Seeing the scratches on my dad car make me wonder how idiot my time has been wasted. I've been counting how many freak accident I have... let's see... in army there was 6 but I could only recall 5.
1. The first time I officially drove the land rover out and had my first exercise in army. I slightly knock a car that was parking at double yellow line. The whole kopi tiam ppl stand up and see whats the big hoo ha.
2. Few hrs later when I was reversing the land rover, my front hit a mini bus. The whole bus shook but nothing was damage. The people realise that I'm a very dangerous driver.
3. Not in any order: Reverse my land rover and hit the wall with a loud bang. Nothing was damage as land rover have 2 metal plates behind.
4. Went out to lot 1 shopping centre to eat and I drove my 2meter tall mini bus into a 1.9meter tall car park. I bang the wall like 6-7 times before exit. Nobody know the mini bus was scratched as the top ventilation black thing merely scrape the top wall of the carpark. People are too short to see anything also lah.
5. Directed by v-com to go to shell station. He bought some tibits and I was reversing my car slowly and before I know it... I scratch a honda car. The case was settle in 2 hrs after the honda gal owner call and say its ok as it only took like $20 to repair.

6. It was a raining day and I turn with a SBS bus. The bus didn't know I was beside it and it hit my mirror. Mirror was adjusted but nothing was damage. <-- first improvement... now ppl hit me.
7. Was stopping at a traffic light and this car in front of me keep rolling back.. I horn the driver and he was still sleeping.. and slightly knock my car. We came down and he sayang my car. Nothing was damage.
8. I was going to my friend wedding and stop when this car knock me. I can hear a loud sound but surprisingly nothing was damage. That guy came down with a notebook and offer to pay me but I shook his hand and went off happily.
9. I reverse without seeing my mirror and hit someone car. I came down and sayang his car. Nothing was damage.
10. Went movie at night and I think I hit the brake but the van wouldn't stop. freak. A little bit damage.
11. Reverse the van to park and knock the wall. Dent in a bit.
12. Reverse my nissan sunny car too fast and hit the wall. A bit scratches
13. Today I drive at funan and the front was scratch after I turn and drove up the carpark. freak. A lot of claw mark.
All the accident happen under 10km/h. Only accident number 6 was around 40km/h.
Ironically, I manage to get safe and courtesy driving award during army days and traffic police send me letter after 2 years of 'safe' driving to ask me keep up the good work.

Long time no see.
Went to Tampines to eat pasta and came across this game shop with PS3. Was dying to try the ridge racer 7 but that guy in uniform keep hogging the whole system and even put his bag there.
I could take it no more and decided to whip out my palm to switch off that sony tv and kill off his addiction. and wtheck he still can stand there hoping the TV can switch on itself! pure addiction! He reported the faulty tv and the man came out and I overheard them saying: overburn liao issit? too hot ah? and few secs later they on the tv back. This time the controller was at this little boy hand.. I queue up behind him since I know he's going to 'die' in the game soon...... and boy was I wrong... the guy in uniform cut my queue and he actually know the boy... what luck.. he took the controller and started playing again.... CANNOT BELIEVE.
I was thinking to ask him or to switch off again.. so I decided to ask him and he still got the cheek to say after he finish his round. -_-". I took the controller and he was just teaching me all the way how to use.. etc etc... its like a bee hovering around my ear when I 'drive' on that ps3.

Update?
Recently my life have been very very busy. I work like 24hrs non stop. I got a shock when dear ask me if afternoon want to go orchard shopping. How on earth can I shop with such heavy responsibility on my shoulder?
Here I am trying to act like a teacher and trying my best to learn flash 8, photoshop... etc. It's very taxing on me and I hope my company can fire me soon and find another replacement for me. Although I have been nickname as the cheater but I seriously can't bear to live my life like this. Students show me their friendster profile and hope I can teach them photoshop skills to make their photos look professional.
How on earth do you expect me to say to them: Hey, I learn photoshop the same time as you all lah dey.
Life's a drag. I have already tender my resignation letter during start of march to inform them that I'll be leaving on June. LoLx. Who the hell does that ? Giving a 3 month super advance notice. I'm just tired of doing stuffs that people are suppose to do but didn't do. If not for all those students, I wouldn't care at all.
Talking about students, some of them are just really talented. It's hard to believe that they are only 13-14 years old. Everyday I go school with a heavy heart. They are the ones who brighten up my day and makes me press on to what I am doing. (con't to cheat that I know what I'm teaching).
Seriously, why do I always get myself into this kind of stuff???
Of course this job is not entirely that bad. I make a couple of friends (students) too. I get to know how MOE, HP and other companies get together to push software down to schools and how the structure of secondary schools differ compared to a few years ago.
Anyone wants to take over my job? It's as easy as ABC if you know multimedia.

Hard Disk Failure Much Higher than Reported
Carnegie Mellon University recently conducted a study that found that HD failure rates are actually much higher than reported. If you are in the market for a new drive, I’d suggest giving this one a good read.
The Carnegie Mellon study examined large production systems, including high-performance computing sites and Internet services sites running SCSI, FC and SATA drives. The data sheets for those drives listed MTTF between 1 million to 1.5 million hours, which the study said should mean annual failure rates "of at most 0.88%."
However, the study showed typical annual replacement rates of between 2% and 4%, "and up to 13% observed on some systems."

Valentines Day
Celebrate V.day in the evening after my work. I've got use of my No Life Life style. Although there is a lot of cock up in the sch but as least now I get paid for being in a sch. No more wasting 3 years in sch for nothing. I must say that I have lots of experience in education line. The only sch I have not been would be private schools. mmm.. come to think of it, I was once a student of informatics.
Anyway, met quite a few friends while celebrating v.day at vivocity. Catch a movie at 9plus by Jack Neo on that day. Superb show and the seats was super. The other guy also book via internet cos we both choose those seats that had one blank seat left and manage to have 2 blank seats throughout the whole show. The flowers was damn heavy. Weight about 1-2kg. I was carrying with my arms while other couples was seen carrying with their fist.

Have You Wonder Why You Must Work?
Dear Readers, it's me again. This time I look and think deep into what I have been doing everyday. It's certainly much much better then studying at some school and coming out with 0 knowledge.
Let's talk about how Singapore school operate. I've been in school almost my entire life (except for 2 years army). Today I see a major problem in how all the old age teachers, well... let's just say they are above 35 years old teachers who are stuck in this digital world where each of them have to carry a laptop around. They just couldn't catch up on learning all the computer terms. I do not doubt their skills but some of them really cannot communicate with the computer like I can't communicate with programming languages.
Let's look at both side. On the first we have the school:
They are trying to get the fastest and best PC for the teachers and HOD to use. Trying to let the students gain knowledge.
Let's look at the other side. The MOE however:
They are trying to stop virus, spyware, malware, security breaches.. etc. They try to restrict what the students and teachers can do on their PCs. They have this TOKEN for teachers and student log in to accounts that are 'restricted'. They put PC Technician to school to help 'restrict' the computers and help troubleshoot.
My Solution:
MOE should alias with the laptop / desktop vendor to come out with a 'cripped OS' for PCs so the only thing you can do on that PC is to just 1.surf net, 2.do spreadsheets, 3.email, 4.er.. what else? MSN is no no for them.
With this solution, PC problem will be cut more then 60%.
As I'm a deep thinker... the PC Technician would be out of job if this happen.
so next time you want road sweeper to keep their job, generously throw litters on the floor so they can sweep it up.
No litters = No job for them.

Life has been about work work and more work. I have to catch hold of all the shit that my supervisor throw and service to all the non IT savvy teachers with ridiculous request like asking me to help them scan 100 pages and put into CD bcos the students is very stingy to buy the 2x $2.80 book.
Just wth is that? Got money buy HP no money buy book?
The secondary students nowadays are quite a farfetched from those secondary days I had. They now have the power of technology and any mistake like crash / lousy planning of timetable, they can just log online and post in straits time forum.
Will I die in their hands? or Will I get killed by my work?

Having my first full time job up till now, I haven't really started teaching the secondary students yet. From what I heard, I will be teaching a lot of photoshop and flash.

I got baptise today.
What does baptism do?
There are, roughly speaking, four views of the effect of someone being baptised:
· Nothing. Christians need not bother with the physical sign of baptism if they experience the spiritual grace. Spirit-baptism is the fulfilment of the ceremony of water-baptism. This view is taken by churches which do not practice sacraments, such as the Quakers (Society of Friends) and Salvation Army.
· An expression of obedience to Jesus, and as such is desirable but not essential: it is a sign which symbolises an underlying reality but has no actual effect. This view is called Zwinglian (after Zwingli 1484-1531) or Baptist (but many Baptist theologians are closer to the Reformed view). One of the main points of baptism on this view is that it is a witness to others of one’s personal decision to follow Christ.
· It is a sign and seal, effecting what it signifies in the context of faith. This is the Reformed or Covenant view, held by the Church of England (in the 39 Articles of Religion in the Book of Common Prayer) and the Presbyterian Westminster Confession. “In the context of faith” means that the New Testament’s language of efficacy (e.g. Romans 6:4, 1 Peter 3:21) is correctly applied to those who trust in Jesus for themselves.
· it does what it says it does, actually making someone a Christian. This is called the “Catholic” or “Ex opere operato” view. (These Latin words mean it works by virtue of having been performed correctly.).

A Pile of Shit
I finally receive letters a few days ago from army. They will be calling me back for some 2hr mob briefing. Anyway, this sat will be my IPPT at bedok camp. I will go there and fail then see when is my RT.
I ask my mom to take out the boxes which contain all my army stuff. Opening them was a headache. All the smell of the army shirt, pants, SBO, bag, shoe, boots... what shit all inside. I had a headache cos I found out that I can only wear one set of the uniform. The rest are too small. I call up my unit and one gal answered the phone. I ask one question she ask me hold on and she ask another ppl the question and get back to me again. Wah Lau. I'm glad also lah cos it means that it's still as cock up as last time. (or hopefully worst)
I manage to get some help from fransin brother who go through with me what is a full pack item. The unit say I have to go back to air force e-mart and not army e-mart to buy my items. Nowadays there is no such thing as one to one exchange. I ask the gal on the phone how much I have in my card, she just siam and say she is not the one to check and she donno. (nice service)
My fullpack is very lethal. Look nice but deadly. Once you use the item inside you will have instant death. 6 years old toothpaste and toothbrush, 6 years old mass tin (if I spell it correctly), 6 years old powder, 6 years old rusty whister, 6 years old kiwi, 6 years old fork and spoon, 6 years old soap... I wonder use liao will die or not.
Freaking sian 1/2. This is the only magic set that fit me. I feel my brain power decrease by 3/4 and my body strength increase by 1/4 when I wear this 'magic overall'. I still lack a 'chao keng' glasses to complete my overall. maybe I should scroll my shirt? I lack weapon can't attack...
