Bought an 8.8kg Printer at $349. Why so heavy? Let's take a look...

This monster can load paper 2 ways. behind and below. The bottom part is a cassette tray which can hold 50 pieces of paper.

1. Direct Printing on CD (means you can make v.cool ahem disc)
2. Their software is v.useful and intuitive.
3. Scanner spec is same as their $279 scanner which is just a scanner where by this is AIO
4. Front 'door' auto open when you click print on your computer. You can also off this printer at the click of your mouse
5. Print out 4x6 photos on glossy paper in less then 2min.
6. LED light on each individual 5 ink tanks to indicate low ink or insertion of ink on the wrong slot
7. Cheap color ink (less then$17 per ink, less then $24 for black)
8. Scan and save to thumb drive without using PC (PDF or Jpeg Format)
9. Print via Infra and also direct card reader that accept MS Pro , SD , CF etc
10. Nice LCD display
11. Able to print double side automatically
12. 1pl microdot print and up to 9600DPI
13. Replaceable print head that you can buy after use for 2 years

Compare to HP:

1. Cheaper price
2. Longer Warranty (2 years on site)
3. Cheaper Ink

What this printer can't do:

1. Fax
2. Wireless
3. Film Scanning

Compare to the price / speed / function this is quite a good buy. I didn't include Epson cos you can't change the print head for Epson. HP ink is expensive because the print head is build on the ink cart. That is like buying a new printer everytime you change a new ink.
