NDP 2006

Went to the preview of NDP 2006 on saturday. I brought along a hugh binoculous. (highly recommended! can see gals erm...) This time I was smart by not bringing anything and wearing shorts and white shirt... why white? The only red shirt was a canon shirt.. seems like helping them promote. My dear wore a 'are you game' shirt. I donno she got it from what school. hahaha

I'm smart to be lightweight but not smart enough as I forgot to bring the camera! wth.. I know I know.. NPNT (no pic no talk). Not even me or dear brought our palm and I just sold my camera HP months ago (using N8250 again). I heard that our preview ticket was worth $150 in the black market. Nobody wanted when I sign in sign out in msn with a spare ticket. In the end the ticket ended up with my church friend. I think it's God will to let her go there.

This year NDP was not that 'grand' as last year. Or maybe the preview mode was not as 'superb' as the actual day event bah... fake president went around waving... hahaha... and the aeroplane only fly past 4 times.. wth.. totally sucks. The fireworks was wonderful though.

Weekend like no weekend.. lucky my work start at afternoon today.

There was 3 tickets and we had 3 fun packs. I was honest enough to show and give my ticket but donno why the guy don't wanna accept. Think can get 3 more but it was damn crowded... as if Singapore is giving free fridge to everyone...

Fun at Sentosa for a total of $7.

Went to church today and after service all head toward sentosa. Each person had to pay only $7. Free Water, Free rides (some) Free lunch (8 course meal) included also. Bus transport also provided.
SUPERB DEAL BY MY CHRUCH! (suppose to be a outing to bond everyone)

Saw some kids playing this... my cousin say this thing has been there before sentosa was renovated

The view on top of the 'flying chair' (note the left side)

Preparing for 'LUGE'. A 'car' which can go up to 50km/h (depend how fast you wanna drive)

Ben & Jerry shop. We bought a milk shake for like $7.90 (exxxxxx)

Inside Underwater World

A slacking Swordfish (think he told a lie)

Jellyfish. Very nice.

Jellyfish.

Angelfish. It is very beautiful

Japanese Spider?!? no, It's a yummy crab.

This is a shell of the crab. It says that the crab will 'run away from home' to find a new shell.

Out of the blue this hologram shark came in front of me. It's really BIG

This card is SUPER POWERFUL. FREE ENTRENCE TO EVERYTHING AT SENTOSA! for example: You can sit the cable car free until you puke! (lost it and pay $500) WTFook!!!!
More info about this card: http://www.singapore-attractions.com/family.htm

Wah lau... 1min to reach from point B to point A. I 'drove this' instead of taking the 'flying chair' back. (DIE DIE MUST TRY!!! VERY SHOIK!!)

All thing in sentosa is FREE! Using the card I mention just now.

Before getting into the 'flying chair'

Me and Dear.

If you find that all the rides mention above are not exciting, try LIFTING THE SAFETY BAR IN MID AIR. 101% thrilling.

It's a regret I didn't use the card to sit cable car until I puke. Sentosa is very fun after the renovation. Highly recommened to visit! What is miss is the monorail... now have to take their free bus or tramp to get around. (Warning. die die go and get a map when you reach there.)

Total Damage: $7 (without ice cream, slurpee, 4 AA Energizer Batt)

Twenty-six things a perfect guy would do,and other propaganda disseminated by misguided women.

http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=26_things
What women really want...

Have you come across an email which seems to help you translate the meaning of what gals really mean? Like for example "I'm fine"... which actually means she's not.

This is another pack which I've found... from here... hahaha

Translation Table:

When they say: Oh, that's interesting.
What they mean: I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Let's have sex.

When they say: That's cool, I like that too.
What they mean: We don't have anything in common, but I'm going to pretend to like some of the things you like so we can have sex.

When they say: I miss you.
What they mean: I'm horny.

When they say: Nothing's wrong.
What they mean: Pack your bags, because you're going on a one-way guilt trip.

When they say: I love you.
What they mean: For the time being. I'm flaky, so check back two weeks from now, I don't know what the hell love means so I might just change my mind, and besides, I want to have sex and this will give me some leverage.

When they say: How's it going?
What they mean: I'm the center of the universe, don't bother telling me, it won't make a difference. I just want to make it look like I'm not a cold-hearted sex fiend.

When they say: I'm fat.
What they mean: Give me compliments, asshole.

When they say: I care about you.
What they mean: I care about me. Let's have sex.

When they say: Nothing.
What they mean: I wonder if he wants to have sex.

RIP, Microsoft Private Folder 1.0

In a quick turn-around for the company, Microsoft has removed its newly released Private Folder 1.0 application. Private Folder 1.0 allowed customers to encrypt files within a password-protected folder called "My Private Folder" and share those files with friends and colleagues.

Many people and business customers expressed concern over how the application would be used. "Private Folder 1.0 was designed as a benefit for customers running genuine Windows. However, we received feedback about concerns around manageability, data recovery and encryption, and based on that feedback, we are removing the application today. This change will take effect shortly," said a representative for Microsoft to CNET News. While the application was good in thought, the implementation and lackluster documentation of the application left many people wanting more.

It's good to hear that Microsoft took such swift action in removing the application in response to customer complaints. Our own readers expressed their issues with the application when DailyTech's initial article went live. For those who want Microsoft-sponsored user-level file and folder encryption, there's always Windows Vista.

Had nothing better to do, did an installation of Windows Vista Beta. Not successful, I think it's because of my graphics card drivers. Posted by Picasa

It's a season to be jolly

Sat was a busy day. Tried out the bus behind my house which can go directly to sengkang. Reached in around 1hr. This is my primary school friend daughter. Her name is kee-lin and she's one month old!

Don't pray pray, she's sleeping on money ok...

After which I went to a 'free' dinner and dance at Mariott Hotel (near CK tangs), it cost $35 bucks but due to some luck I had this free ticket. This is not some ordinary Dinner & Dance, its where all the people in Singapore Court have their dinner this night. People from SUB Court, Supreme Court (CJ, Registrar, etc...) The theme of the D&D was 'back to school'. Before entering, there was some entertainment and I manage to learn how to spin a plate using a stick. cool.

FYI: My dear was mad enuff to wear school uniform bundle with poly tie there. Instead of a boring eat and go dinner, it was filled with lucky draw in which me and my dear won some popular bookstore and golden village vouchers. (free dinner & $$.. wow) There was also performances and the MC was a bloody joker. The whole crowd was enjoying from what I see. It's cool to be a civil servant.

Grand settings (check out the menus)

This was the first performance. Dead accurate beat and a scottish feel.

NOTE: The MC was a portugal supporter. These cheerleader keep flashing their white panties while doing their stunts... NO WONDER ENGLAND AND BRAZIL LOST. KAOZ. lucky I nv bet.

Reached home around almost midnight. Posted by Picasa
